Total Power is offering this update again, on current code requirements for life safety projects specifically in Ontario. Despite changes to the code several years ago in Ontario (2012), many users are not following the changes, or are not even aware of them. This can cause delays or even additional costs for engineers designing emergency power systems. These changes were harmonized with C282-15 as well, and require particular attention paid to emergency power wiring methods and protection.
Familiarity with the CSA Standard C282-15 is extremely helpful for this seminar. Although not mandatory, the C282-15 (April 27) seminar is a good prerequisite.
Classes are limited to the first 15 participants to register for each seminar with a maximum of 2 attendees per firm per day. A light lunch and learning materials will be provided by Total Power. Waiting lists will be formed as required when registrations exceed the limit, and alternate date(s) may be offered at the discretion of Total Power. Total Power may choose to cancel classes if registrations are too low.
There will be no cost to qualified engineering firm employees. Registrations must be made in advance and confirmed. Cancellations must be received 48 hours in advance. Last minute or repeated cancellations may result in future registrations being declined. Certificates of attendance will be provided upon completion, along with pdf copies of each seminar presentation.
