March 26, 2020

Ontario’s Premier Ford issued an order for the closure of all non-essential businesses and services beginning March 25.

Total Power and L.M. Generating Power Co. Ltd. remain open and operational during this order as our business has been identified as essential.

“Businesses that provide support and maintenance services, including urgent repair, to maintain the safety, security, sanitation and essential operation of institutional, commercial industrial and residential properties and buildings, including, property management services, plumbers, electricians, custodial/janitorial workers, cleaning services, , security services, fire safety and sprinkler systems, building systems maintenance and repair technicians and engineers, mechanics, (e.g. HVAC, escalator and elevator technicians), and other service providers who provide similar services.”

Our work is critical to ensure the continuity of service for power systems found in essential infrastructure and business such as: hospitals, care homes, food distribution, 911 communications, water and sewage pumping, telecom, residential dwellings and many more.

We continue to adopt best practices that support the health and safety of our staff and customers. Social distancing, travel restrictions, virtual conferencing, work from home solutions, personal health and hygiene awareness, visitor restrictions and population density limits are just a few of the strategies being deployed.

We continue to monitor this changing environment as well as the health of our employees. Rest assured that if any new orders or disruptions negatively impact our ability to serve you, we will be proactive in our communication with you.

Thank you for placing your trust in Total Power and L.M. Generating Power.
